WedPlan Desktop was developed to supplement and enhance WedPlan for PalmOS. The desktop application can open, edit, and create WedPlan databases and save those to the local computer or install them back on your PalmOS Handheld.

WedPlan Desktop allows the user to:

• Keep the important wedding day information in one convenient location.
• Quickly and easily create a complete Guest list with key contact information, RSVP status, gifts received, and notes.
• NEW! Arrange your reception site seating arrangements and place all your guests at tables.  Input the maximum seats per table, and the program will make sure you do not exceed this.
• Import Contact information directly from MS Outlook 98 or later!
• Create the wedding party similar to guest information, but maintained in a separate listing for quick access.
• Track all vendor information with detailed pricing and due-dates.
• NEW! Email your guests or vendors from within WedPlan.
• Get an overview of payments that are due
• Maintain your wedding timeline with pre-populated tasks tracked by a configurable timeframe arrangement.
• Enter new and edit existing tasks.
• Save copies of your WedPlan databases to your local computer for emergency recovery of data.
• WedPlan Desktop can quickly open the Palm Databases from your latest HotSync, and can quickly switch between Palm Users for multiple WedPlan's on different Handhelds (as long as they each have a separate HotSync account on the computer where WedPlan Desktop is installed).
• Preview and print reports of your wedding information to share with your wedding coordinator or just for reference.
• Upload your edited data to your Palm handheld.

WedPlan for PalmOS allows the user to:

• Maintain the important wedding day information, such as wedding date, church, officiate, reception information, and bride's and groom's information
• Track the number of days left before the big day
• Enter and maintain a complete guest list with key contact information including the RSVP information
• Generate a Palm native document that can be edited or printed directly on your Palm (you must have a doc editor and print driver already installed).
• Import contact information from your Palm Addressbook for your Guest List and Wedding Party
• Track gifts received from each invited guest and "thank you" note status
• Arrange the wedding party

• Keep track of all vendors with contact information and detailed pricing including full contract amount, down payment, final payment, and due dates
• Add reminders to your Palm Datebook with alarms for pending vendor payments
